A straight is a series of 5 cards from one or more suits, each card in a specific order.

This is the most common type of hand. It beats any other straight, and can also be broken by the highest card.

Other types of hands include flushes, straights, and full houses.

Each hand is ranked according to its probability, and the best five-card hand wins. This is called the “pot”.

Some poker players may have a tendency to play weak hands when faced with multiple bets, and thus, bluffing. In this case, it is a good idea to fold if possible.

If you have a strong hand, however, you should bet to force out the weaker hands. This will raise the value of the pot and increase your chances of winning.
